Do you want to befriend a senior and/or an adult with a disability? Friendly Visiting provides companionship and creates a face-to-face relationship between a volunteer and an isolated person in the client's home. Volunteers will provide socialization and participate in activities not limited to: chatting, reading and writing letters, walking around the neighbourhood, and playing cards and games.

Telephone Reassurance Volunteers contact clients by telephone and create a one-to-one relationship between themselves and an isolated individual. There are volunteer placements in the Nursing Units, Pet Therapy, Clinics, Information Kiosk, Language Interpretation, etc. To volunteer, you must be at least 16 years old. All volunteers are required to complete a medical declaration stating that they are free of communicable disease. School-Year Program - 4 hours per week Summer Program - 2 days per week
