We have great volunteer opportunities: * Staffing one of our exciting fundraisers, such as the Annual Garden Tour or the Wenonah II Cruise and Silent Auction * Tree planting or other restoration work * Committee work such as developing an annual Heritage Workshop * Speaking to youngsters about the environment * Library resource management * Educating service groups * Helping to acquire land for nature reserves * Work in our Office/Resource Centre

Description: 
We welcome youth to fulfill their 40 hours of community service by welcoming visitors, assisting staff, and giving tours of the museum. No additional training. Permission of parent/guardian required. The Secrets of Radar Museum was created to preserve the history and artifacts of the men and women who served in the top-secret RADAR division of the Canadian Military during World War II, and to educate the public on the history of RADAR in Canada.

The ARTS Project is seeking volunteers to work in a custodial capacity, assisting the staff with cleaning and light repair projects as well as set up for events. Basic knowledge in handling tools and repair work. Benefits to volunteer: Gain current work experience while helping a dynamic organization grow.
