Youth Assisting Youth is a non-profit charitable organization that provides a peer mentoring service to improve the life prospects for newcomer and at risk youth.
We need people like you - especially guys 16 - 29 years old - to mentor newcomer and at risk youth in your community in 2010. You'll both benefit. We train you, and you can do it on your own schedule. You can make a difference. Contact us to find out how.
Volunteer Description:
Volunteers will provide positive support, coaching and leadership to youth on a one-to-one basis or in groups including after school programs, arts and/or recreational activities. Second language skills are preferred but not required. Attend attractions, professional sports events, etc. together. FREE passes/tickets provided. Scholarships available. Comprehensive training provided. Young professionals and post secondary students/grads needed.
