Celebrate. Remember. Fight back. Join the Society in planning an event you will never forget as we work to make cancer history.
Relay For Life committee members attend monthly meetings and are needed to contribute their time and ideas. Duties will include: active participation in scheduled meetings, potentially overseeing one area of the Relay For Life, assisting with recruitment of teams and volunteers, and, helping on event day. Committee and subcommittee positions available include: logistics, entertainment and activities, sponsorship, food and beverage, luminaries, smart shop, survivors, heath and safety, and, security and parking.
This year’s event takes place on June 18-19 at the fergus Community Centre.
The potential candidate should be enthusiastic, creative, organized and be able to work and collaborate with a team. Experience in areas of fundraising, networking, public relations, marketing and volunteer management is an asset.
